Smart-Holding became the Title Partner of the First International Competition of Young Popular Music Performers New Wave Junior 2012 that took place in Artek International Children's Centre (Ukraine, Crimea) this year.
The finals of the milestone fifth competition gathered talented musicians from 12 countries in Artek. This year, the first prize went to the 8-years-old Russian contestant Liza Puris. Sonya Gyulkhasyan (Armenia) and Yulya Privyka (Ukraine) took the second and third places. Viktoria Litvinchuk received an Audience Choice Award – the Diamond Wave.

The New Wave Junior competition of young musicians has an extensive regional program. The screening rounds take place in seven federal districts of Russia and in such countries as: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Ukraine, Estonia and many other regions. The competition's geography is expanding every year.
Since 2010, the New Wave Junior has been taking place in the Crimea, at the Artek International Children's Centre.
