21.11.2012

Kiev, 21 November – Chernomorsky Shipbuilding Yard (ChSY, Nikolaev City, Ukraine) has tied up a contract to build a floating restaurant for Concord catering holding company (Russia).

The contract for construction of the double-deck С14928 vessel with a two-tier bulkhead was signed between Chernomorsky Shipbuilding Yard (part of Smart Mаritime Group) and Concord Management and Consulting LLC (Saint-Petersburg, Russia) on November 16, 2012.

The ship is supposed to host an onboard restaurant and will be operated on the Moskva and the Neva Rivers in Russia. The vessel is planned to be completed and turned over to the customer in spring or summer of 2013.

‘The contract for building a vessel of this sort is a very interesting task for ChSY since it broadens our outlook and enables us to make a lodgement in a new shipbuilding segment. I am convinced that this pilot project will become a basis for further growing cooperation with our Russian partners,’ comments Alexandr Yurkov, the Head of Smart Maritime Group.
