Smart-Holding has traditionally acted as a partner of the World Economic Forum (WEF). The annual meeting of WEF members is taking place in Davos (Switzerland) from 17 to 20 January. The delegation of Smart-Holding is headed by the Company's CEO Alexey Pertin.
The topic of the current WEF meeting has been defined as Responsive and Responsible Leadership. The participants will focus on the discussion of the growing inequality trends and polarization of society on economic, ethnic, religious and cultural reasons. These factors contributed to major political changes that happened in the world last year. Since the beginning of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, growth in the indicated trends and challenges is expected. And it is the responsible leadership that is destined to become an answer to them.
It is expected that the forum will be attended by 2.5 thousand people from 90 countries.
"Last year will be remembered for turbulence of global political, economic and social processes. It is becoming evident for businesses that building of long-term strategies will require more attention not to the forecast of economic indicators, but to modelling of social and cultural processes, to the systems of interaction with communities at the regional and global level," said Alexey Pertin.
The World Economic Forum is an international organization of public-private cooperation. The main event of the Forum is the annual meeting, which is traditionally held in Davos in late January - early February to discuss the key issues of the global economy.
