Smart Maritime Group has signed two new contracts for the manufacture of large metal structures that will be fulfilled by specialists of Nikolaev production site (Chernomorsky Shipbuilding Yard).
In particular, the Company has concluded a contract for the production of 400 tonnes of metal structures with UkrSpetsStalKonstruktsiya enterprise, a general contractor for construction of an automobile bridge on the Odessa-Reni road. The second contract covers manufacture of two metal barbettes for crane fleet of Ilyichevsk Shiprepair Yard. The total weight of the structures is about 115 tonnes. The orders are expected to be completed before the end of June. Their total value is estimated at UAH 14.5 million.
Nikolaev production site of Smart Maritime Group has extensive experience in manufacturing products for companies of engineering industry, metals and mining sector, as well as in producing metal structures for bridge crossings. As recent as in April of the current year, the production site completed the manufacture of 880 tonnes of metal structures for the construction of a bridge across the Dnieper River in Zaporozhye city.

SMG's 2016 production output totalled UAH 395 million. The amount of taxes and fees paid by the Company to budgets of all levels for 2016 was UAH 74 million, including UAH 23 million paid to local budgets.
The average salary in the holding company in March 2017 amounted to UAH 6,861, including the average wage of welders standing at UAH 7,372.
