It is expected that contractual operations will be completed by January 2019.
"This is not our first contract that is fulfilled for companies from mining and steel-making sector. Successful experience of cooperation with Mariupol iron and steel works (Metinvest) has shown that the qualification and expertise of our experts in the manufacture of metal structures meet the highest requirements. We believe in the revival of shipbuilding in Ukraine, but now, in conditions of negative market environment, shipbuilders have to look for alternative points of growth. Machinery/engineering orders for companies of mining and steel-making sector, alternative energy sector, construction industry develop new competencies of shipbuilders, bring positive effect for the profitability of shipyards, and make it possible to implement social projects," said Vasiliy Fedin, General Director of Smart Maritime Group.
* Radial thickener is a special equipment intended for condensation and desliming of slurry, clarification and treatment of circulating water, solutions and suspensions.
Smart Maritime Group (SMG) is the largest shipbuilding holding company in Ukraine combining two shipyards: in Nikolaev and Kherson.
