23.04.2021

Arkona Gas-Energy LLC, a part of Smart Energy Group and an operator of Svystunkivsko-Chervonolutske field (Poltava oblast), began research of its field. The works will provide details for locations of the following target wells, planned for the further development of the field.

Within these works Arkona started thermo-atmo-geochemical research of the licence area. They will help to specify the geological structure of Svystunkivsko-Chervonolutske field and to define favourable sites for laying future wells.

The company is getting ready to conduct 3D seismic that will cover the licence area and is planned for the end of 2021 – beginning of 2022.

“Currently we are working on the project of further industrial development of Svystunkivsko-Chervonolutske field. It will enable us to finalize our production plans for this field,” comments Victor Dudzych, CTO of Smart Energy Group.

Earlier, Arkona Gas-Energy company joined Smart Energy Group in March, 2020, having been acquired by the Group’s British asset – Enwell Energy. The works on construction of the first well (#4) at the field have already been started. Currently, the works on receiving land allocations for industrial pipelines and connecting gas pipeline laying are in progress. Completion of a new well is expected by the end of 2021.
