Vadym Novynskyi Foundation distributed more than 40,000 food kits to Ukrainians suffering from the war

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion on February 24, Vadym Novynskyi Foundation, together with the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, has sent more than 40,000 food kits to residents of Ukrainian settlements located in the front-line zone, as well as to refugees and internally displaced persons affected by hostilities

Among the recipients of humanitarian aid are residents of Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhia, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kherson, Dnipropetrovsk regions and cities of Kyiv region that suffered from the temporary occupation. Namely: low-income families with children, single elderly people, disabled persons of I-II groups, citizens who care for disabled persons.

"Today, many people are in dire need of food and hygiene products. That is why we are constantly expanding the amount of aid to those who survive under shelling every day, and to those who were forced to leave their homes, jobs, their usual lives and become refugees. We are gradually gathering pace, and now, on the instructions of Vadym Novynskyi, our humanitarian aid headquarters is forming 5 tons of food kits and 500 kits of hygiene products every day. With the help of our transport partners — "Nova Poshta" and "Ukrposhta" — and by means of our Foundation's transport, humanitarian kits quickly reach their addressees. Many sets are distributed through the offices of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church throughout Ukraine," says the director of the Foundation, Dmytro Sergeev.

Vadym Novynskyi Foundation, together with the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, is also implementing one of the largest projects in Ukraine to provide communities affected by hostilities with specialized medical transport. 101 ambulances have already been transferred to different regions of our country. Since February 24, Vadym Novynskyi has sent almost UAH 900 million to finance humanitarian projects and initiatives.
