With the assistance from Smart Maritime Group, parishioners of Holy Virgin Kasperovskiy Temple received a possibility to bring their children to Kovcheg (Ark) orthodox children and family camp for recreation.

Children of employees of Kherson and Nikolaev Shipyards of SMG went to the Black Sea coast for recreation. This year the Company allocated UAH 120 thousand for 20 two-week holiday vouchers to Romantic Camp (Skadovsk city).

Changes to the so-called `stop-the-masks-shows` law approved by the Cabinet of Ministers, which are meant to strengthen the responsibility of law enforcement officers for abuse or corrupt practices aiming to exert pressure on businesses, can drastically change the situation that arose in Ukraine. This is how Ivan Gerasimovich, Risk Management and Security Director of Smart-Holding, commented the changes to the `stop-the-masks-show` law that the Cabinet of Ministers directed to the Verkhovna Rada.

Smart Maritime Group (SMG) has begun the construction of two outfitted hulls of chemical tankers for the Dutch VEKA Shipbuilding WT B.V. According to the contract, SMG will manufacture two outfitted hulls, will paint them, will install vessel's general piping systems, and will fit out the deck. The second vessel will be built at Nikolaev Shipyard of SMG. The term of the construction will be 11.5 months per one hull. The value of the contract will be over UAH 145 million.

Ukrgazvydobutok PJSC (part of Smart Energy Group) commissioned a new appraisal-development well No 28 at Ostroverhivske gas-condensate field in Kharkiv region. Well depth is 4,620 m.

Companies of Smart Energy Group transferred 7.3 mln UAH of royalty to budgets of local communities for the first quarter of 2018. In particular, communities of Poltava region received approximately 3 mln UAH and Kharkiv region – 4.3 mln UAH.
