The largest investment of Smart-Holding in mining and metals is 23.75% of the capital in Metinvest that Smart-Holding manages in partnership with SCM Group.
Metinvest Group is a vertically integrated group of mining and metal companies located in Ukraine, Europe and the USA, and the sales network covering all the key markets. The company is a big player in the global market and its products are supplied to 75 countries of the world.
Agribusiness
Agricultural business is a strategic business line and is regarded as a development driver. The main investment project in this area is HarvEast agricultural holding, in which SCM Group owns a majority stake (75%). Agrarian business is also represented by Veres trademark specializing in growing and processing fruit and vegetables.
Energetics
Smart-Holding, within the framework of its strategy aimed at diversification of the investment portfolio, develops projects in the areas of oil & gas and alternative energy. In 2012, these projects were combined to form a new promising business division Smart Energy Group.
Shipbuilding
Smart-Holding has been developing its shipbuilding business represented by Smart Maritime Group LLC sub-holding (Smart Maritime Group, SMG) and a number of shipbuilding companies each of which occupies a significant place in the shipbuilding sector both in Ukraine and within the Azov-Black Sea region.

Logistics and infrastructure
In 2016, Smart-Holding decided to set up a logistics hub in the format of an industrial park with a focus on transhipment of agricultural sector's cargoes and metal structures. The project is being implemented on the areas of Nikolayev Shipyard of Smart Maritime Group that are not used in the main production process.
Real Estate and Development
Smart-Holding participates in the implementation of a portfolio of projects in real estate. This business line is represented by a project for all-inclusive reconstruction of Troyitska Square (Kiev) and by the largest Ukrainian commercial real estate operator managing 14 trade centers in Eastern regions of Ukraine.
