Hospitals in Donetsk, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhya and Kharkiv regions received up-to-date high-class biological protection suits and respirators (N99 and N95) from Vadym Novynskyi's International Charitable Foundation in Honour of the Intercession of the Most Holy Mother of God. Very soon, 100,000 tests (DialPlexQ™ 2019-nCoV), which Vadym Novynskyi's Foundation purchased in South Korea, will be delivered to medical laboratories.

‘Only by joining together we can defeat our common mischief, can provide help to healthcare professionals and protect people,’ said Vadym Novynskyi, the founder of the Foundation.

He also emphasized that the immediate plans of Smart-Holding and the Foundation include an additional purchase of biological protection suits, medical masks, respirators, disinfectants and other sought-after medical equipment.

‘Tomorrow or the day after tomorrow we will have precise information about the quantity and delivery time. All this will be distributed among the healthcare institutions of the region and countrywide. We will continue to support medical facilities in the region and coordinate our efforts with the Coronavirus Task Force under the Office of the President of Ukraine, as well as the local authorities,’ said Vadym Novynskyi.

Dnipropetrovsk region is one among those who received the help. In particular, 11.6 thousand medical respirators, 11.3 thousand reinforced medical masks and 3,040 medical suits were delivered to the region.

‘The region received high-quality masks, respirators and protective suits for medical staff. This delivery was made from the Office of the President and the Ministry of Health on a centralized basis. The equipment was purchased at the cost of our business partners. We are very grateful to them. Thanks to fruitful cooperation between the government and businesses, the medical supplies of hospitals are now being actively replenished,’ the press service quotes the governor of the region, Oleksandr Bondarenko.

In his turn, the Head of Zaporizhzhya Regional State Administration Vitaliy Turynok thanked the Foundation for supporting the region’s healthcare institutions. The region received 1,720 medical biological protection suits, 11,500 medical N95 class respirators, 1,200 reinforced medical masks and other medical equipment.

‘Today, it is doctors who are at the forefront of the fight against coronavirus. We are grateful to Vadym Novynskyi's Foundation, which was one of the first in Ukraine to provide its assistance. Today, our region has received biological protection suits and high-class respirators from his Foundation meant for our medical staff. The delivery was made with assistance from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and with support from the Coronavirus Epidemic Task Force under the Office of the President of Ukraine. The financial support was provided by the Foundation. We hope to continue our cooperation. Only by joining together we can defeat our common mischief,’ said Vitaliy Turynok.

Earlier, Vadym Novynskyi's Foundation purchased 10 highly efficient medical ventilators, 850 sets of personal protective equipment for medical staff and 10,000 rapid tests in China. The equipment and the tests are now being distributed to specialized healthcare facilities in the regions. This Sunday, thousands of top-class protective suits and respirators for medical personnel, purchased by the Foundation, arrived from China with the second aircraft. They have been distributed to Donetsk, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhya, Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv regions.

On Monday, 100,000 high-precision DialPlexQ™ test systems purchased by the Foundation arrived in Ukraine from South Korea. They allow real-time PCR (polymerase chain reaction) to detect the infection. These systems have a European compliance certificate and allow diagnostication of the disease with accuracy of 99%.

In early April, the next flight is expected to arrive from China, which will deliver 10-15 medical ventilators and 10 contagious isolation boxes for transporting infected patients, as well as personal protective equipment for medical staff, all purchased by the Foundation. In addition, this week 3 top-class diagnostic systems will arrive in Ukraine, which will make it possible to diagnosticate dozens of patients a day, 40 minutes per each patient.

The Foundation also provides support to war veterans and labour veterans who are at risk. Volunteers of the Foundation together with representatives of businesses make targeted deliveries of food products to veterans and pensioners in Kyiv, Kherson, Mykolaiv cities and Kyiv region. Today, by joining efforts with Metinvest, such support is also being provided in Mariupol city. This is a joint initiative of Metinvest's shareholders Rinat Akhmetov and Vadym Novynskyi.
