Smart-Holding Started Paying Salaries to Amstor Retail Chain’s Staff

21.01.2015

Smart-Holding, the main shareholder of Amstor Group, arranged for payment of salaries to employees of Amstor retail chain for December.

The salaries were paid in full to those employees who resumed their work in the retail chain’s stores in Kiev and Dnepropetrovsk. The payment process was organized through pay-offices of the company’s subsidiaries. In the process of payroll accounting, all payments stipulated by the current tax legislation were made.

As the employees’ employment books (records) and primary financial documentation were stolen and taken to an unknown destination by persons associated with the retail chain’s ex-manager Vladimir Vagorovskiy, payroll accounting for all supermarkets of the chain remains complicated today. Payments will only be guaranteed to those employees who return to their jobs. Only with employees at their workplaces will it be possible to restore the entire history of their employment in the company and to organize regular payment of salaries.
