Smart Maritime Group shipbuilding holding company (SMG, Kherson), which operates Chernomorsky Shipbuilding Yard and Kherson Shipyard, signed a contract for the construction of an oil garbage carrier commissioned by the Yuzhnenskiy Branch of the Administration of Sea Ports of Ukraine state-owned enterprise (Administration of Yuzhnyi Sea Port), (the city of Yuzhnyi, Odessa region).

Kherson Shipyard formally floated out its lead dock tug ALTAIR of Т2440 design that was commissioned by Kirgan Holding S.A.

Chernomorsky Shipbuilding Yard (Nikolaev) has received a new order from Concord Shipbuilding Corporation to recondition its ALMERIA ship. The respective contract to UAH 3.5 million was signed in April 2015.

A number of mass media have published misleading information on the economic activities of Ochakov Port recently. In particular, these publications referred to the enterprise's alleged involvement in the illegal schemes of oil products’ import to the customs territory of Ukraine. To disprove those allegations, Ochakov Port officially announces that this information is not true.

Mass media have been spreading misleading information lately that Smart-Holding owns a stake in or exercises control over Nikolaev Okean Shipyard (Okean NSZ) in Nikolaev City. In connection with these allegations, Smart-Holding officially announces that since 2012 the company has been out of any relation to the shipyard.

Smart Maritime Group, the shipbuilding holding company that integrates Chernomorsky Shipbuilding Yard and Kherson Shipyard, is planning to increase its output by 45.7% against the last year's actual production level, to reach the target of UAH 223 million. 

Chernomorsky Shipbuilding Yard (Smart Maritime Group, ChSY, Nikolaev) has floated out a specialized vessel RION that underwent deep modernization at the shipyard’s facilities under a contract with Delta-Pilot, a subsidiary of Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority (public enterprise, Nikolaev).

Smart Maritime Group (Kiev) and Kirgan Holding S.A. signed a contract for construction of two hulls of ship-towing tugs (T 2440 design) at the facilities of Kherson Shipyard (KhS).

The administration of Chernomorsky Shipbuilding Yard (Nikolaev, Smart-Holding) fully paid off its payroll debt for the previous periods to the shipyard's employees to the amount of UAH 9.8 million. The shareholder of Smart-Holding Vadim Novinsky made a critical decision to allocate the funds for full repayment of the company's payroll debt.

Chernomorsky Shipbuilding Yard (Smart-Holding, Nikolaev) shall supply the specialized equipment to Ilyich Iron and Steel Works in Mariupol (Metinvest Group) to be used in the sinter plant retrofit and upgrade project.
